Growing Your Self Worth
Uncovering your self-worth is not like picking a beautiful flower and proclaiming, “oh this is my beauty!”. Naw, that is too easy.
It’s like tilling parched soil, year after year. Each year you plant something new, first tiny flowers so you can remember that you can grow beauty.
Then, once you slowly begin to learn how your own ecosystem works, you can plant herbs and veggies. Oh how delicious this new fruit! You begin to have more than you can eat yourself, so you start to share.
After years of weeding out things that take over, and tilling your formally parched soil, you can finally grow strong and rooted fruit trees. Your soil can nourish them, and provide fruit and relaxing shade for everyone who enters your garden.
Since you know your innate power, you no longer give away your soil Or your fruit to deer or critters that can harm you. You’ve learned to love and protect the gift you have to give, you know your fruit is unlike any one else’s.
Since you’ve weathered all the seasons, even the seasons of lack, you know this fruit will come back year after year because you know your soil is ripe for growth.
What better gift to yourself than to give it away to the people you hope to nourish? You know, because of time and seasons, you will no longer lack for yourself, and will continue to have plenty to share .
This is knowing your true worth. Always remember to be gentle with yourself, those weeds are bitches, but worth the effort and patience it takes get deep into those pesky roots and pull them out. I believe in you, and see your worth even when it’s hidden under rocks and dirt.
